  • Scribble: invite by email
    Scribble is a 3D drawing game I've been working on for a few months as a lead interaction designer on. It has been both, a challenging and rewarding, project to work on and while I have close to hundred wireframes for this game, I am sharing my favorite one with you.

    This project is showing a flow for inviting another player by email to start a game of Scribble. There are two sets of wireframes for this project: existing player inviting a friend by email and a prospective player receiving invitation through email.

    This was an especially fun project to work on because I had to figure out the best place to solicit email invitation without interrupting existing user's game flow but also without spoiling the drawing for the prospective player.

  • Antivirus Dashboard
    This was a short task for Avira to design a dashboard where a user can see all their devices at a glance and add new devices if desired. The wireframes walk you through adding a new device flow and are designed to be mobile-friendly.

  • Caltrans Mobile Redesign
    Freelance project for Kizmo, the goal of which was to redesign a Caltrans site to work on mobile devices including but not limited to iPhone, iPad, and various Android phones. The goal of the mobile site is to quickly update the guest on latest news from Caltrans.

    Deliverables were wireframes and visual design finish for presentation to their client.

  • Critter Courier
    Critter Courier is a casual iPhone game developed for Booyah. The goal of the game is to deliver critters to their final destinations while taking care of them and trading with friends.

    As a visual designer on this project, my deliverables included user interface and interaction design, character design, and game art. Here you can see our promo video of the game, some critter sketches and UI elements.

  • CORE - Jam-O-Drum Game
    Multiplayer Jam-O-Drum game developed in one week by a 4-person team of graduate students at Carnegie Mellon's Entertainment Technology Center.

    Inspired by classic games such as Pong and Warlords, the player controls his/her CORE paddle to ricochet the ball and protect his/her core. Last player remaining wins!

    My role on this project was game design and visual design. You can see the many interaction the game went through to make it more fun while keeping the simplicity.

    Some concept art I created that was later made into 3D scenes to show off Panda3D engine capabilities. Illustrations are roughly based a script with guidelines for style and feeling for each environment.

  • Oreo and Raisinet - wiiMote Game
    Oreo and Raisinet is an interactive 3D game in which the player needs to lend Oreo a hand so he can reunite with his love, Raisinet. The game uses wiiMotes to control the action and the player has the freedom to explore environment while following the storyline.

    This was a group graduate school project completed in two weeks with a team of 4 people. My responsibilities included designing and rendering 3D environment, game design and stage production of the game for Building Virtual Worlds show.
